About #movetodigital

The degree of digitalization of the telecom industry and the use of new technologies is constantly increasing. As CSPs are facing a tidal wave of digital transformation, in order to keep their heads above water, they need to respond to changing market demands in an agile way.

Making the shift from telecom operator to digital service provider is not easy, and requires comprehensive cultural change together with a move to an approach focused strongly on customers and service. This calls for faster networks, more efficient business processes, unrivaled customer experience and an offer composed of innovative services, which can be personalized according to customer profile.

Network technologies such as NFV/SDN, open up new opportunities to experiment with new digital services, such as those for enterprises or based on machine to machine (M2M) and IoT. The other face of virtualization is the trend of moving BSS/OSS tools to the cloud, to allow greater agility, flexibility and speed in launching and delivering new services.

Digitalization also means that customers are increasingly moving from offline to online in the way they look for information, compare service providers and shop. This has triggered the introduction of omnichannel sales and marketing, which enable each client to move seamlessly and consistently across devices and available sales channels during the buying process.

Additionally, comprehensive, real-time data analytics let communication service providers present their customers with a personalized offer – not only for individual subscribers but also, for example, for M2M customers, where made to measure services can help providers maximize revenue in that segment.

#MoveToDigital – Welcome to Comarch Digital City

We built our digital city to show how new technologies and concepts change the way we communicate and utilize telecom services, and how this impacts on business operations of service providers.

Take a tour!

To navigate through the city and find out about the most important aspects of a telecom digital transformation, use the numbers on the line at the bottom of the screen. Every couple of weeks, we will activate a new stop on the city map, focused on a new subject.

To browse the whole landscape, use your mouse or click the arrows in the lower right corner of the screen.
